Thanks, Doug, for showing us this great photo. I had found it on your blog but the large version is so much better. It is an excellent photo.
It was good seeing you the other night, I really enjoyed the conversation. Your description of how this longhorn/rainbow photo came about sounded a great deal like Ansel Adams’ description of how his famous black and white shot of the New Mexico pueblo was made. Like you, he was in the right place at the right time. Of course, being an excellent photographer helps too.
