How to post

You guys may have already figured this out, but I thought I’d share it anyway.

To make your first post on the new blog, you will need to click on the link in your invitation e-mail asking you to setup your own blog.  Don’t worry, you won’t have to start a blog, but you do have to follow the link.

OK, the link then takes you to wordpress where you’ll fill in the form and then make sure to click the box or whatever down toward the bottom that says you only want a domain, not a blog.  Then you’re in like Flynn.  You’ll not have to do that part again.

So, when you want to post (after doing the above exercise) you will go to and click on login which is on the far right.  You’ll get a new window from wordpress that asks for your user name and password (whatever you chose when you did the above exercise).  You’ll hit enter and you’ll be taken back to the blog.  Weird, but that’s how it works.  Now you’ll need to click the site admin link, again on the right to be taken to your “dashboard” where  you’ll select “write”.  From there it’s  pretty obvious what to do next.

Sounds really complicated, but after you do it once or twice it’s not so bad.

If any of you guys have questions pop me an e-mail.
